Welcome

Welcome to 9th grade Literature!

I am your teacher Ms. Natasha Watkins. Ninth grade marks the beginning of many important transitions, including the experience of becoming an adult. Although we are going to be learning virtually this semester I will remain diligent in keeping the lines of communication open and providing a rigorous academic experience.

There will be four (4) units that we will embark upon this semester and my blog will cover all aspects of each unit when they begin, so this is a great resource to find information if you need it.

We will be reading at least two (2) novels (Bronx Masquerade and American Street) and a Shakespearean Play.  This semester we will be focusing on reading comprehension, overall grammar/sentence structure and writing (constructive short responses and essays).

Once again I am glad you are here and welcome to THE South Cobb High School!!!!
